Durex has been a well-known brand that has managed to market its product in the most effective and creative manner. Adding to this, in its new campaign, the brand urges us to look at 2020 with a different perspective.
Before 2020, the so-called ‘Normal’ world worked according to gender stereotypes. In its new ad, “ Let’s Not Go Back to Normal” it urges us to move forward and use this phase to break the stereotypes and accept the progressiveness. Most importantly, it uses the ad to question the thought processes while judging a woman carrying a Condom and calls out men who neglect the need for protection during sex due to their ignorance and laziness. All in all, Durex manages to stir the market, with its well-planned representation of the existing stereotypes that need to be left behind.
