Adidas, the official kit sponsor for the Indian cricket team, introduced the new T20 International jersey for the men's team with a special event. They posted a video on social media from the unveiling ceremony held at the Dharamsala stadium on April 6, 2024. In the video, cricket stars Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, and Kuldeep Yadav watch as a giant version of the new jersey is displayed above the stadium.
Jersey Design
The new jersey, which will be available in stores from May 7, 2024, features a stylish mix of blue and orange. The shoulders are orange, and the rest of the jersey is blue, with two orange stripes running parallel down to the waist. It also includes Adidas' signature three white stripes and a tri-colour stripe around the collar, adding a patriotic touch.

Team India's Use of the Jersey
It's not confirmed yet if Team India will wear this new jersey during the T20 World Cup. However, the unveiling suggests that Rohit Sharma and his team might sport this new look in the upcoming matches, which start on June 2 in the USA and the West Indies.
Adidas as a Kit Sponsor
Adidas has been the official kit sponsor for the Indian team since May 2023. They have designed jerseys for major cricket events like the World Test Championship final and the ODI World Cup last year. The ODI World Cup jerseys, in particular, saw a significant rise in sales as fans prepared for the tournament hosted by India. Since becoming the kit sponsor, Adidas has been known for its unique and engaging ways of introducing new kits.
