Vishal Chinchankar has stepped down from his role as Chief Executive Officer of Madison Digital and Alpha. His departure comes at a time when Madison World is undergoing significant transformation, including leadership restructuring and potential strategic collaborations.

Chinchankar’s professional journey began at The Indian Express as a senior executive. Over the years, he held prominent positions across the media and digital ecosystem, including stints at Investment Research and Information Services, Mediaturf Worldwide, and as Director at Mindshare Interaction for India and Singapore. He also served in leadership roles at Reliance Digital TV and led WPP’s martech agency Prodigi. Before joining Madison, he was the Digital Head at MEC India.

His exit coincides with Madison World’s reported negotiations to sell a seventy percent stake in the company. Global communication networks such as Publicis Groupe and Havas Network are believed to be in the running, with the proposed deal potentially valuing Madison World at approximately one thousand crore rupees.

This leadership change also follows recent client transitions for the agency. McDonald’s India for its South and West regions appointed Starcom India as its new media agency, concluding a twentyyearlong association with Madison. Additionally, Godrej Consumer Products Limited handed its media duties to Essencemediacom, effective April 2025.

These developments mark a pivotal period for Madison World as it reassesses its leadership structure and explores new strategic opportunities to adapt to evolving market demands.
