Rajasthan is gearing up to invest a whopping INR 700 crore in establishing a cutting-edge digital university aimed at nurturing technological innovation within the state. This ambitious initiative was disclosed by Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, the Minister of Information Technology and Communication for Rajasthan, during a fireside discussion at the Angel Rajasthan workshop.

In addition to this groundbreaking endeavour, Col. Rathore highlighted another significant project in the pipeline: the development of a sprawling 100-acre fintech park in Jaipur. This park is envisioned to serve as a hub for training and employment opportunities, particularly targeting the youth population. The state government is collaborating with top developers to bring this vision to life, aiming to bolster the technological landscape and provide a conducive environment for growth and innovation.

The discussion, which took place during Inc42's angel investing workshop, 'Angel Rajasthan,' shed light on the government's proactive stance towards fostering entrepreneurship and technological advancement. It was revealed that iStart Rajasthan, a flagship initiative launched in 2017, has already extended support to over 400 startups, further cementing the state's commitment to nurturing a thriving startup ecosystem.
