Zomato, India's leading food ordering and delivery platform, has introduced personalised photo cakes on its app, offering customers the opportunity to add a unique touch to their celebrations. This new feature allows customers to order custom cakes adorned with their chosen photos, creating a memorable and personalised experience.

Unlike traditional custom cake orders, Zomato's photo cakes can be ordered on the go, with restaurant partners in major cities dispatching the cakes within the usual delivery time of 45 to 60 minutes. Customers can conveniently browse and select their preferred bakery or restaurant from a curated list, choose the flavour and weight of the cake, and upload the desired photo directly within the app. With a preview feature, customers can ensure that every detail of their photo cake is just as they want before placing the order.

Founder's Take on the Service

Founder Deepinder Goyal shared the announcement on social media, inviting customers to try out the new feature. While currently available in select areas of Delhi NCR, the feature will soon be expanded to other cities. Goyal expressed gratitude to Zomato's restaurant partners for their collaboration in launching this exciting addition to the platform.
