Fresh From Farm, a platform connecting fresh fruit suppliers with consumers, has successfully secured $2 million in its pre-Series A funding round. The investment was led by Ashish Kacholia, the founder of Lucky Investments, with participation from Inflection Point Ventures.
Raising Funds for Expansion
The newly acquired capital will be allocated towards expanding the team, enhancing technological capabilities, and introducing new product lines to further enhance the platform's offerings.
Additionally, Fresh From Farm has facilitated a partial exit for early investors, providing them with impressive returns exceeding 400%. Notably, Inflection Point Ventures had previously led a seed round of Rs 3 crore in November 2022.
Founded by Rohit Nagdewani, Fresh From Farm leverages proprietary technology to forecast and maintain a balance between demand and supply, thereby minimising the wastage of fresh produce. Its flagship product, F3, enables fruit vendors to transform into mini-franchises by handling sourcing, grading, and handling of fruits, allowing them to focus solely on sales.
With an impressive Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) of Rs 40 crore, Fresh From Farm aims to achieve a milestone of Rs 100 crore by the end of the calendar year.
In a competitive landscape, notable players in the same sector include Vegrow and Ninjacart.
