GoKwik has officially welcomed Vargab Bakshi as its new Chief Growth Officer. With an impressive track record at ecommerce giants like Shopify and Wix, Bakshi is now set to lead GoKwik’s ambitious expansion plans across marketing, partnerships, product strategy, and global outreach.
Known for helping shape India’s ecommerce landscape, Bakshi played a foundational role at Shopify, where he was one of the first members of the India team. He helped establish Shopify’s presence in the country and was instrumental in crafting its go-to-market strategy across India and emerging markets. His leadership extended to launching and scaling the APAC partner ecosystem, turning Shopify into a favored platform for Indian D2C brands and developers.
His next stop was Wix.com, where he served as Vice President and Country Head for India. At Wix, Bakshi led enterprise sales, brand marketing, and partnerships while localizing the product experience for Indian users. His focus on accessibility helped drive adoption among non-tech users, freelancers, and digital agencies, significantly increasing brand visibility in the region.
Now at GoKwik, Bakshi is expected to elevate the brand’s growth efforts with a clear focus on product-led thinking, global expansion, and a robust partner ecosystem. He will oversee all facets of growth across GoKwik’s software suite, including its apps on Shopify and other platforms.

Beyond operational roles, Bakshi is also the creator of GrowKwik, GoKwik’s influencer-led education platform that has become a go-to destination for ecommerce learning. With more than half a million followers across Instagram and YouTube, GrowKwik is a unique initiative that reflects his passion for community-building and brand education.
