Kareena Kapoor brings back memories of her character Geet from the movie 'Jab We Met' in Goibibo's new ad.
In the ad, Kareena wears a bright orange outfit and her hair is tied up. She, along with a friend, enters a sketchy hotel called Hotel Descent. Kareena's character, just like Geet, questions the receptionist about the charges for staying there. She says, "Do we have to pay to stay here, or is it free? Because I don't have any change."
Her friend suggests using the Goibibo app to find a better place to stay. Kareena shared this ad on Instagram and asked her followers to finish the sentence: "Kareena Kapoor is currently reveling in the triumph of her recent film Crew, along with Tabu and Kriti Sanon."
This ad follows a trend of bringing back iconic characters, like Shankar Mahadevan, Jackie Shroff, and Prabhu Deva concealing their faces in MakeMyTrip's ads. Similarly, Rungta Steel's campaign featured Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor, while Oppo reunited the cast of Wake Up Sid for its latest mobile launch in India. Even the stars of CID and Crime Patrol join forces to find a boAt killer, and the cast of 3 Idiots swap roles to play cricket in Dream11's ad.
Popular Bollywood couple SRK and Deepika Padukone star in an action-packed adventure inspired by the movie Pathaan for Hyundai Creta's ad. Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi revive their characters 'Munna & Circuit' in an ad for Acko Insurance, and Pratik Gandhi offers 'a solid tip' in the persona of Harshad Mehta to promote CenturyPly Club.
