Snigdha Sidhra has moved into a director position at Burson, marking a new step in a communications career that spans more than a decade across public relations, brand strategy and media. The Snigdha Sidhra director role reflects her progression within the firm after several years in leadership positions.

Sidhra announced her new role after serving for more than three years at Burson, most recently as associate director. During this period she has worked across account management, brand strategy, communications planning, crisis management, content development and media relations for a range of clients.

Her work has involved shaping strategy, managing complex mandates and guiding teams, giving her a broad view of how integrated communication programs are built and managed. The director appointment formalises that expanded responsibility.

Before joining Burson, Sidhra spent around two years at Genesis BCW as account director. There she handled reputation management, digital strategy and executive communication across multiple sectors, adding experience in managing high visibility accounts.

She previously worked at PR Pundit for more than seven years, holding roles from public relations consultant to senior account manager. Her focus there was on fast moving consumer goods and other consumer brands, giving her long exposure to lifestyle and consumer marketing briefs.

Her early career included trainee and internship stints with organisations such as EZMA Fine Cashmere, ActiMedia, Avian Media, TV Today, NDTV and Hindustan Times. Those roles provided grounding in media operations, editorial processes and the basics of communication planning.

Sidhra appointment as director is described as recognition of her continued growth within Burson, supported by a mix of strategic communications, crisis response, content strategy and team leadership experience. It illustrates how agencies are increasingly promoting leaders who can move fluidly between reputation management, digital engagement and narrative building.

As clients seek partners who can navigate issues, craft long term brand platforms and manage day to day communication, directors with diverse backgrounds and hands on experience become central to delivering integrated work. Sidhra new role positions her to play a larger part in guiding such programs while mentoring the next layer of talent inside the firm.
