Maruti Suzuki, a big car company in India, is changing its top team starting April 1, 2024. Partho Banerjee will now lead the marketing and sales department. Sandeep Raina, Tarun Aggarwal, CV Raman, Shashank Srivastava, and a few others will join him in the new management committee.
CV Raman used to lead engineering but now joins the executive committee. Shashank Srivastava, who led marketing and sales, also joins this group. Tarun Aggarwal, after working for 34 years, is now the head of the 'Powertrain' section.
Sandeep Raina, who was in charge of product development, will now focus on product planning. Rajesh Uppal got a promotion from HR and IT to join the executive committee. Ram Suresh Akella is now in charge of marketing, while Salil B. Lal and Manoj Gautam head HR and IT, respectively.
Rahul Bharti, Deepak Thukral, and Sunil Kakkar are now leading corporate affairs, supply chain, and corporate planning. These changes aim to help Maruti Suzuki achieve its growth goals for the next financial year.
