Yatra Online Limited has announced a senior management reshuffle designed to position the travel platform for its next phase of expansion. At the centre of the Yatra leadership transition is co founder Dhruv Shringi, who moves from chief executive officer to executive chairman of the board, while industry veteran Siddhartha Gupta steps in as the new chief executive officer.

Shringi has led Yatra since inception and will now focus on long term direction, global expansion and shareholder value creation in his role as executive chairman. He will work closely with the board and leadership team to shape strategy while handing day to day operations to Gupta.

Effective 25 November 2025, Gupta becomes chief executive officer. With more than 25 years of experience in enterprise technology and business to business software, he brings a background in scaling organisations, digital transformation and building customer partnerships. His previous leadership roles include senior positions at SAP, HP and fast growing software as a service ventures in India and overseas.

Shringi said it has been a privilege to guide Yatra from its early days into one of India most trusted travel brands serving corporate and consumer segments. He described Gupta as the right leader at the right time, noting that his depth in enterprise sales and software aligns with the company business to business first strategy. With this expertise, Shringi expects Yatra to consolidate its position in India and open new opportunities in international markets.

Shringi emphasised that Yatra has consistently anticipated the needs of business clients and that the new structure will help strengthen its leadership in corporate travel. He expressed confidence that close collaboration with Gupta and the wider team will further extend the company global footprint.

Gupta said he is excited to join at what he called an important point in the company journey. He pointed to Yatra strong brand, deep customer relationships and leading position in managed corporate travel as a platform for further growth. His stated priorities include accelerating momentum, enhancing the technology and service portfolio and delivering greater value to clients.

Over the past 12 months Yatra has added 148 new corporate clients, representing an annual potential business of more than Rs 700 crore. The company sees these wins as evidence of a strong trajectory in the managed travel segment and as confirmation of its role as a preferred partner for businesses seeking structured travel solutions.

By pairing continuity at board level with fresh operational leadership, Yatra is signalling its intention to deepen market leadership in India while pursuing selective international expansion. The company states that it remains committed to innovation and customer value as it works to strengthen its position as a go to partner for managed business travel.
