Piyush Mehta, Genpact's Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), is now also leading as the country manager for India.
In his new role, Mehta will use his skills to push forward Genpact’s AI-first strategy in India.
Genpact, a global company offering professional services and solutions, has announced that its CHRO, Piyush Mehta, will now also serve as the country manager for India, starting right away.
This change shows Genpact's dedication to India and its focus on becoming a company that prioritizes AI technology. In 2023, Genpact opened and grew three new operating centers in smaller Indian cities like Madurai, Jodhpur, and Warangal. This helped expand the company's talent pool and reach, contributing to the economic growth of these regions.
BK Kalra, Genpact's president and CEO, stated, "India is a crucial source of talent for Genpact, and we believe our people are our biggest strength. Piyush has a strong track record of building and nurturing our talent network for the past 25 years. His expertise will be vital as we strengthen our presence in India."
Mehta, who has been instrumental in shaping Genpact's HR strategy as CHRO, will now apply his knowledge to drive the company's AI-first approach in India. He aims to create value for important stakeholders in India while also overseeing the company's global HR operations.
"I see India's talent as a key driver for the country's economic growth. I'm thrilled to take on this expanded role as we continue to expand our business, support India's skilled workforce, and contribute to the country's economic development," commented Piyush Mehta, CHRO and country manager for India at Genpact.
