Mygate has officially elevated its Chief Business Officer, Rohit Jindal, to the role of Co founder, recognizing his pivotal role in the company’s growth since its early years. The announcement comes alongside the promotion of Pranav Shankar to Chief Technology Officer, marking a significant leadership milestone for the tech driven community management platform.
Jindal joined Mygate in 2017 and has since been instrumental in scaling the company from a single city operation to a presence in over 25,000 residential communities across more than 50 Indian cities. His leadership saw the creation and expansion of the Mygate Ad Platform, a targeted advertising solution that connects brands with gated communities. Prior to his journey with Mygate, Rohit Jindal held leadership positions at Practo, HSBC, and Citibank, bringing with him a diverse range of experience in consumer tech and finance.
The elevation to Co founder is a recognition of Jindal’s contributions to Mygate’s strategy, growth, and market position. As someone who helped shape the product’s evolution and build a new category in urban housing solutions, Jindal now formally joins the founding team alongside CEO Abhishek Kumar and the other original founders.
Meanwhile, Pranav Shankar has taken charge as Chief Technology Officer after serving as Senior Vice President of Technology since 2019. Over the past six years, Shankar has played a crucial role in building Mygate’s core infrastructure, including the high volume visitor approval engine which processes over 100 crore approvals annually. He also led the development of the platform’s payment gateway that facilitates more than ₹4500 crore in society maintenance collections every year. His recent efforts include launching Mygate’s Smart Home devices segment, which adds a new layer of tech integration for modern homes.
