As India battled one of its harshest summers, Glucon D stepped up with a refreshing idea that brought smiles and energy to thousands of children. Zydus Wellness, the brand behind Glucon D, rolled out a unique campaign titled ‘Energy Ka Gola’ to help kids stay active and energised in the sweltering heat.

The initiative reached more than 10,000 children across four major cities: Lucknow, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Mumbai. It combined the nostalgic joy of ice golas with the scientifically proven benefits of Glucon D’s glucose and Vitamin C formulation. The chilled treats helped children recover lost energy and boost immunity, allowing them to continue playing outdoors even in high temperatures.

With rising heat and humidity, kids often lose glucose rapidly through sweat. While drinking water helps with hydration, it may not fully restore lost energy levels. Glucon D's blend of glucose and Vitamin C is designed to provide quick energy and added immunity, especially during summer when children are most vulnerable to fatigue and infections.

Over the course of the campaign, the brand distributed more than 700 kilograms of energy infused golas across more than 100 playgrounds and sports grounds. Available in favourite flavours like Orange, Mango, and Nimbu Pani, the treats served as both a cooling respite and an energy booster.

Tarun Arora, CEO of Zydus Wellness, shared the vision behind the initiative. He said that summer brings extreme weather swings, and brands must adapt their efforts to match children's needs. He emphasized that Glucon D has been a household name for decades and continues to play a vital role in offering instant energy and immunity support when it is needed most.

To wrap up the initiative, the brand released a campaign film showing children rejoining outdoor play after receiving their chilled Glucon D golas. Empty playgrounds were replaced by vibrant scenes of laughter, sports, and movement, sending a clear message about the brand’s role in keeping kids energized during tough weather conditions.

The campaign also received backing from local influencers, sports coaches, and community leaders, all of whom helped spread awareness around summer fatigue, the importance of immunity, and how Glucon D serves as a practical everyday solution.
