India’s smart electronics space is about to sound a lot better. EPACK Durable, a leading Indian consumer durables manufacturer, has officially partnered with Bumjin Electronics Co. Limited, a globally reputed audio tech brand from South Korea. The move signals a major shift in India’s audio landscape as both companies gear up to co-create soundbars, TV speakers, and Bluetooth devices tailored to the next generation of tech-savvy Indian consumers.
The agreement was signed on July 24, 2025, and it marks Bumjin’s first-ever entry into the Indian market. For EPACK Durable, this partnership is more than a business deal. It is a major step toward broadening its presence across smart device categories. With a foundation built on strong R&D, large-scale manufacturing, and an expanding distribution network, EPACK brings its local expertise to the table. Bumjin brings in world-class audio design and technology that has set benchmarks globally. Together, the alliance aims to deliver AI-integrated and premium audio solutions for Indian homes.
The new partnership has plans in place to begin manufacturing operations by the third quarter of FY 2026. From there, the goal is ambitious but clear. The joint entity is targeting a 30 percent market share in the audio product segment. This will not only help EPACK Durable move beyond its stronghold in air conditioners but also boost its visibility as a full-range consumer electronics brand with offerings that appeal to both existing and new markets.

This partnership also signals a deeper strategic intent. It is not just about launching new products. It is about transforming how audio devices are made and consumed in India. With technology transfer and the infusion of global best practices, the collaboration will nurture local innovation, reduce reliance on imports, and open doors to new export opportunities. Currently, 25 percent of speaker systems in India are imported. This partnership directly aims to bring that number down by ramping up domestic manufacturing capabilities.
Ajay DD Singhania, Managing Director and CEO of EPACK Durable, called this partnership a milestone in the company’s journey. He highlighted the synergy between EPACK’s strength in operations and Bumjin’s mastery of sound engineering as the foundation for a product line that meets global benchmarks while catering to Indian needs. Bajrang Bothra, Chairman of EPACK Durable, echoed this sentiment and emphasized the growing demand from OEMs for smart audio solutions. With a solid go-to-market strategy and the right partners in place, he expressed confidence in scaling both speed and output.
The bigger picture is hard to miss. As India’s appetite for high-quality, connected audio grows, this collaboration between EPACK Durable and Bumjin could redefine what consumers expect from their home sound systems. It is also a strong signal of India’s capability to become a global manufacturing and innovation hub in consumer electronics.
