In anticipation of its upcoming electric scooter launch, VIDA, Powered by Hero, has unveiled a fresh campaign that taps into the cultural conversation around tradition versus innovation. Featuring Bollywood icons Anil Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor, the campaign presents a spirited family scenario that explores the generational choice between a classic petrol scooter and the new VIDA VX2 electric ride.

Set in a warm and familiar household environment, the film draws out a playful clash between the two generations. Anil Kapoor, portraying the voice of old-school reliability, defends the legacy of traditional scooters, while Ranbir Kapoor represents the forward-looking mindset of urban youth, making a strong case for electric mobility. Their on-screen chemistry captures both nostalgia and the push for progress.

The concept was developed by Creativeland Asia, which aimed to position the campaign as more than just a product showcase. “You don’t build desire by talking specs. You build it by stirring culture. And when two generations collide, something new is born. This campaign is that moment,” said a spokesperson from the agency.

The campaign officially kicks off the lead-up to the VIDA VX2’s launch, scheduled for July 1, 2025. Targeted at city riders, the VX2 promises a combination of performance, modern design, and sustainable technology tailored for daily urban commuting.
