The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has picked McCann Worldgroup and Scarecrow M&C Saatchi for its advertising campaigns in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. They want these agencies to come up with creative ideas for their ads. They're also looking for other agencies to help with technology, digital ads, regional campaigns, and social media.

The BJP wants to make sure they reach out to as many voters as possible. They're considering other agencies like Ogilvy and Efficacy for different parts of their advertising plan. They're also thinking of using their own teams for some of the communication work.

According to data from Google Ads, the BJP has spent around Rs 31 crore on Google ads between January 1, 2024, and March 15, 2024. This shows they're gearing up for the elections, which will happen in seven phases over six weeks. Voting will finish on June 1, and the results will be announced on June 4.
