PUMA India's boss, Karthik Balagopalan, denies rumours about Virat Kohli leaving, confirming their strong partnership.

In 2017, Kohli signed a huge Rs 110 crore deal with PUMA, making waves in Indian sports endorsements. This partnership boosted PUMA's popularity in India.

Kohli also teamed up with PUMA to launch the lifestyle brand 'One8.' This collaboration strengthened their bond over the years.The reports of Kohli abandoning ship to agree with another brand also resurfaced.

Despite rumours, PUMA remains committed to Kohli, recognizing his importance in their Indian market strategy.

Additionally, Kohli's association with PUMA extends beyond mere sponsorship, culminating in the launch of the lifestyle brand 'One8.' This venture further solidified the relationship between the cricketing sensation and the global sportswear giant.

Rumours were rife that Kohli would join Agilitas Sports, founded by former Puma India MD Abhishek Ganguly in 2023. Kohli's involvement may include endorsement and ownership stake.

Virat's break from Cricket

The brand's confirmation of its partnership comes amidst Kohli's brief break from the sport. 

On February 3rd, Kohli's friend, South African cricketer, AB de Villiers, announced that Anushka Sharma and her husband, Virat Kohli, were anticipating their second child. He mentioned Kohli's break to prioritize family time.
