Integrated marketing communications firm Gutenberg is signalling the next phase of its evolution with the elevation of Amardeep Singh to co founder and president. The move formalises a leadership role he has already been playing as the agency shifts aggressively toward a Human plus AI operating model.

The timing is deliberate. Artificial intelligence is reshaping how brands plan, create and distribute marketing, yet most enterprises are still in early adoption. A recent McKinsey report highlights the gap
a large majority of marketing and sales teams do not use AI agents, and only a small fraction have reached any meaningful scale.

Gutenberg wants to sit on the other side of that divide. For the past two years, Amardeep has led an organisation wide transformation to make the firm fully AI ready, integrating automation into workflows while retaining human strategic oversight.

Founder and chief executive officer Harjiv Singh credits him with rearchitecting the agency into what he describes as a true partner for marketing transformation. While larger legacy networks wrestle with structural change and disruption to traditional models, Gutenberg has been building a Human plus AI setup designed to help brands move from experimentation to measurable impact.

Amardeep joined Gutenberg in 2007 and has been central to its growth into an integrated firm with a presence in seven countries. Under his leadership, the agency has built an enterprise ready approach that combines human led strategy, creativity and relationship management with AI driven research, production and optimisation.

The model follows a Human in the Loop framework advocated by experts including Wharton professor Ethan Mollick. In practice, that means AI systems handle scale, speed and data intensive tasks, while people supervise, interpret and refine the work to maintain creative integrity and brand nuance.

In his new role, Amardeep will continue to drive this integration while working with chief marketing officers to design high performance marketing ecosystems. His focus, as he describes it, will be on building engines that are intelligent, authentic and performance driven rather than one off campaigns.

Gutenberg two decade journey already includes more than seventy five global awards, multiple industry honours and a Great Place to Work certification, pointing to a culture that blends ambition with stability. The elevation to co founder acknowledges Amardeep long term contribution to that culture and signals the agency confidence in its AI enabled direction.

As marketing leaders face pressure to deliver more personalised, measurable results with fewer resources, agencies that can combine human insight with AI scale are likely to have an advantage. With Amardeep Singh now formally in place as co founder and president, Gutenberg is making it clear that it intends to be one of those partners.
