Ogilvy has appointed Lyndsey Corona to lead its business in the United States, giving her responsibility for the agency’s operations across major offices including New York, Chicago, Washington DC and California. She will take on the position of Ogilvy United States CEO from January 2026, reporting to Laurent Ezekiel, Global CEO of The Ogilvy Group.
The Announcement
In her new role, Corona will oversee all aspects of Ogilvy’s offering in the market, spanning advertising, public relations, social and influence, customer experience and consulting. She will be tasked with using the full breadth of the agency’s capabilities to drive value for clients, nurture talent and accelerate growth.
Corona will also act as executive sponsor for Ogilvy’s Verizon relationship, reflecting the importance of the partnership within the network’s client portfolio. Her remit includes strengthening integrated solutions and ensuring teams work seamlessly across disciplines.
Corona brings more than 2 decades of experience across global agency networks, holding companies and startups. She joined WPP in January as Global Growth Lead for the Verizon relationship, overseeing growth and collaboration across the group.
Before that, she served as President and Partner at independent creative agency Slap Global, where she led the business to its first agency of record wins with SeatGeek, Petco and Eastern Mountain Sports. Under her leadership, the agency reportedly doubled revenue each year and received recognition such as Effies Global Independent Agency of the Year and Ad Age Small Agency of the Year for 2 consecutive years.

Earlier, Corona spent 6 years as Chief Growth Officer at McCann North America, where she also helped launch McCann Entertainment. Her career has included senior roles at TBWA New York, with responsibilities spanning business development and global brand leadership for clients such as Pernod Ricard and McDonalds. She has contributed to new business wins for brands including Kahluá, Planters and GlaxoSmithKline and has worked on campaigns recognised for their business impact.
