Geetu Bhatnagar has resigned from her role as a senior marketing leader at Oracle India, concluding a tenure in which she helped shape the company’s cloud and artificial intelligence strategy for the region. As Oracle India Head of Marketing, she played a central role in building campaigns and frameworks that supported demand generation and partner led growth.
During her time with Oracle, Bhatnagar was responsible for designing and executing marketing strategies across the data and AI cloud business. Her mandate included planning integrated campaigns, supporting product positioning and aligning marketing programmes with the needs of enterprise and partner ecosystems.
She led demand generation initiatives aimed at building a strong pipeline and developed marketing frameworks for independent software vendors and partner marketing. These efforts helped Oracle deepen engagement with partners and customers across multiple industries.
Under her leadership, Oracle strengthened its presence in key geographies, including Japan and the wider Asia Pacific region, while also running global flagship programmes and immersive digital campaigns to sustain interest and engagement over time.
Before joining Oracle, Bhatnagar had built a varied career across the technology and telecommunications sectors. She began at Autodoor Industries and later moved to Telstra, gaining experience in business development and solutions for enterprise clients.

She then joined Compaq Computer Corporation as Head of Government Business, focusing on public sector opportunities. Her next move was to Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where she served as Director of Public Sector Sales, working with government and institutional customers.
Her period at Microsoft marked another significant phase. As Senior Director of Enterprise Marketing, she led commercial marketing for enterprise, mid market and public sector customers in India. She drove go to market strategies around the “reimagining the enterprise” theme, aligning marketing with shifts in cloud, mobility and productivity.
Bhatnagar was closely involved in major product launches, including Azure, Windows 8, Windows Phone, SQL Server and Office 365, helping design campaigns that connected these platforms to evolving customer needs.
Bhatnagar’s departure closes a chapter in which Oracle’s marketing in India and parts of Asia Pacific was guided by a leader with experience across multiple global technology firms. Her background in cloud, enterprise software and public sector engagement allowed her to bring a broad perspective to programmes focused on digital transformation and AI driven solutions.
As Oracle continues to compete in a crowded cloud and data market, the leadership transition in marketing will be watched for signals on future positioning, partner engagement and how the company plans to communicate its AI and data offerings to customers in India and beyond.
